History is a muddled thing riddled with bias and agendas. Some recall Vlad Dracul III as a hero to the Romanian people who fought the nobility. Others claim he is the vicious Impaler of Wallachia who butchered thousands. Fiction paints him in a supernaturally evil light as the vampire of Bram Stoker. In my experience, all of these were true. I thought I could control the future Voivode, but one tragic mistake taught me how very wrong I was.

Two hundred years have passed since I've laid eyes on Luminita, my Goddess of Blood and Chaos. I fill my days with war, acting as General to John Hunyadi, the Regent of Hungary. It's a satisfying enough existence that allows me to indulge my bloodlust, but when Vlad Dracul appears at the Beszterce court with his new bride, my world fractures. I am once again face to face with my goddess, and I will stop at nothing to free her.
